Three Years of Adorable
Three years ago, I gave birth to my third baby boy: Daniel. He keeps us on our toes, but man, is he a sweetheart!!! He has gone from 9 lb 4 oz bundle of chub to a very verbal little three-year-old culinary master in training. This boy LOVES to cook with his mommy! I use it as a way to cheer him up when he’s bored or upset. I just say, “Dan, do you want to go cook something with me?” and instant happiness.
Of course, he prefers that we bake sweet, yummy things, as opposed to just cooking supper, but he’ll go along with anything.
We love our little Dan-man so much! Happy Birthday, Dan!
Dan was blessed with some very loving and attentive brothers. They love nothing more than a new baby.
all boxed up for his very first move: 4 months old
He loves his aunts!
Having older brothers means sometimes having to wear strange costumes! Just be thankful it’s not sisters, Dan. There’s no telling what sisters would put on you!
Third children learn about sports much more quickly than the 1st and 2nd, at least at our house!

Caleb had even more fun with his presents than he did.
The boys were mimicking the way I was getting them to look at the camera…..with my hand on my head, “Oh, please, please look at me boys!!!”
Yep, his daddy actually buried him in the sand.

I know. Your favorite Dan photo might have gotten excluded. There were so many, it was hard to dig through them all, so I was sort of random!!
Today I’m focusing on happy thoughts and leaving my worries behind. I’ve been letting myself worry and fret lately, over some problems with weaning the baby and baby sleep issues! Plus, my back has been acting up again.
No more, April!!! This too shall pass.
I’m going to do more stretching and exercising for my back. That I know I have to manage for the rest of my life.
The baby, though, is just a baby. I haven’t seen a kid yet that graduated high school and couldn’t drink from a cup. HAAA! We will be okay.
And the sleep? What can we do? God will give us what we need.
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
