I AM BACK!!!! I am beating pregnancy anemia!!

I am very proud to announce that the crash and gradual recovery of 2013 appears to have ended TODAY.  I am beating this pregnancy anemia.

This morning I woke up feeling like a real person again.  I have my energy back, and it feels so good!  Plus, all the problems that felt like the sky falling for the past week seem so much smaller now.

Even Caleb is finally better!  He went all night last night without a cough or any medication.  We were so relieved!

Isn’t it amazing how important physical well being is?  If your body’s not feeling right, nothing else really matters.  That makes me sad for my dad because I know his illness won’t just go away with a few iron pills a day.  I’m thinking about you and praying for you, Dad!

Isn’t it a pity that it has to be necessary to experience hard times?  But it really is necessary!  A person who has never had any problems is annoying, unable to relate to anyone else, and without compassion.

Even God can sympathize with us in the human perspective.  Jesus suffered things far worse than I hope to ever suffer, so we can pray to him knowing that he does understand our pain.

You know what else pregnant people are good at?  Recommending food!  This sounds simple, but if you want to make your tummy, body, and mouth really happy, you should eat a Caesar salad today.  That is my current favorite food (other than the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies I want so badly and haven’t had in sooooo long)  One key thing you mustn’t forget when putting together your Caesar salad is PEPPER–regular black pepper from your shaker.  Ya’ll this takes it to a whole other level.  Just ask Alan.  We went through a whole bag of it the other night at dinner, just the two of us.  That kit came with the pepper, but some don’t.  PLUS we added tomato, almonds, more Parmesan cheese, and Craisins.  So delicious.  You gotta try it.

“May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human enough hope to make you happy.”

Victor Hugo
