One Thought
I have only one thought to share with you today, now that ALL FOUR of my children are here. Here it is:
1. What have I gotten myself into?
I may have to hold my mother here prisoner…..
(7am, 2 week check up this morning)
2.5 weeks old. 9 lb 13 oz.
23 1/2 inches (We kind of doubt the accuracy of that length measurement).
Our doc said, “You guys are just wonderful. I wish all my parents were like you.”
🙂
*moment of pride*
…..followed by coming home to four children, when I was suddenly reminded of the overwhelming reality of my situation…
Thank you to Amy, Heather, and Stephanie for the meals you have brought. I don’t know if you have any idea how greatly we appreciate it.
Seriously. My mom was planning to go home on the 15th. She still is, but I’m going to need her back asap. I have no other “mother’s helper” lined up until August when our babysitter, Megan, returns from vacation. So, Dad, are you feeling up to a road trip??
I'll do all I can to help you while we're there! I know there's only so much another nursing mom can do, but we'll try! 🙂 amy
Alan arrived at 9 lbs. 13 oz.! I feel so so bad about not being able to help right now. So thankful that your parents can be there. Love, Nonna
