What? Can they just decide to stay an extra week?! If so, that is ridiculous. That is incredibly frustrating. You seem to be taking it much better than I would be, that’s for sure. I could not make it as a military wife – props to you. Hopefully there will be enough “sprinkles” in there to get you through!

Try to get a hotel with a pool!! We were stuck in a hotel for over a week with our four boys they were older than your 4 at the time so that did help. We were juggling school and catching up(they were a week behind) making lunches for school etc. proved interesting……now we have those memories. This will just add to yours!!! Praying for you on your adventure!! Glad you are getting lots of Grandparent time it is priceless!!!
