Mrs. DeSatnick was so good about that too, which gave me the idea. I love getting ideas from teachers like you!! The thing about Caleb is that I have to force him to pick books out at the library, instead of laying in the floor playing with blocks. Gracious.

The power of letting a child choose their own books is amazing. As long as they are on his reading level let him read what he wants. Introduce him to new genres and guide him, but children succeed when they can choose and be engaged in their reading material. Sounds like you are doing just that. Good job!
