It is most certainly going on our list for our trip to California next August. I remember watching the otters with my husband (then fiancee) near Monterey about 15 years ago…your story cracked me up because we also saw and heard the mating – and some sea otter self-gratification. We could not stop laughing! To this day, whenever someone mentions how cute otters are (AND THEY ARE SO CUTE!) my husband and I exchange a glance and then laugh hysterically.
