There’s Something Strange in the Neighborhood…

Run!!!!!!!

This week my website theme (basic framework for what my pages look like) went BONKERS. I inserted a fix, thanks to a wonderful family that I know here, that made my home page look regular again. (Thanks again, Geno!)

All of my old posts are almost completely unreadable.  The side bar crosses into the regular part. The white part that used to go behind the words is gone, and I have no idea what brought this all on.

🙁

I am a blogger. I love to write. I love to share photos. Building a blog is pretty easy, until I moved to wordpress.org. I’m not so good now. I have managed to work this blog through two website moves. I’ve learned how to connect social medias, edit photos, and design a banner or two. That’s where my knowledge ends.

So have patience this week. My blog is being worked on, by me……hahahahahahaha! I’m probably going to have to change a lot of things that I don’t want to change, just to get it to look normal on every single page.

Goodnight! Maybe when we wake up, it will all be better. 😉

  • I've had my share of blog hiccups over the years. Is there supped to be a header on your blog, besides the category list? Because it isn't visible. Otherwise, everything seems good.

    • It's funny. The new blog only shows the header on the home page and not the old posts...hmmm Hopefully, I can fix it. At least it's finally readable.

  • Your new template has a crisp, clean look and no problems, at least on my end.

  • Oh no, I can see it looks a little backwards with the pictures. Jen's Guy is a pro, let us know if you need help!

    • It was crazy. And of course, since I couldn't blog, I had so many blog ideas! :) Go figure. I should have written them down.

  • April, I'm pulling for you! I wish I had knowledge to give. Let us know how you end up working it all out.

  • I don't know if it helps to know this, but when I clicked on any of the blue-colored embedded links: such as date, wordpress.org, or problems, it made my view all wonky just like you described. Also, when I clicked on the comments icon at the top of your post, it is doing the same thing. Hopefully it will go back to normal when my comment is published. I think it is a formatting glitch. Wake up Wordpress! Fix the problem!

    • The cotton-pickin' thing is messed up again and doesn't go back to normal after I post my comments.

    • This is quite the puzzle. I suppose this goes to show what happens when one who knows very little about computers becomes a blogger. There may be a glitch, but it could be related to something I've done. Who knows. This may take a while.
