These make beach days considerably less stressful. I haven’t attempted one by myself with both kids getting in the water though. Little R is big enough now, but she’s so independent, if I didn’t let her do what she wanted (which would undoubtedly be something totally dangerous), we would have major fits. So we’ll see, maybe someday. Thanks for sharing your experience, I love how positive you are!

I remember those years, of going to the beach. The beach window in Canada is only about 2 months in Canada, so of course if it is the 1st beach day of the year, the kids would have been totally wired. Would take both my wife’s and my eyes on high alert to make sure everyone arrived back home safely.
In the almost 1 year I have been following, your boys are really growing. You have a very precious family. 🙂

Ha! I hear ya. I think they’re hilarious too. We enjoyed visiting Mexico when we lived near Tucson, but…..that was nine years ago. No passport required back then. Simpler times.
