What a special thing to hear from your son! Home, most definitely, should be a safe and comfortable place where all are accepted and loved and encouraged and strengthened. I have often said that our home is my haven, which is basically the same thing your son said 🙂

Clam chowder is one of my real life treats, although I’ve never had it in a bread bowl! I’ve had broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl, though!
I love the concept of homeschooling to help with transitions if you move or plan to move around a lot. That seems so wise!
And I Love the concept of heaven at home!

Thank you, McMom!! I loved the bat pulling photo too, but Alan was like, “What’s he doing! He’s scratching up the bat!!” Oops. Oh well… Is cooking dinner by 2 weird? Ha! I really have to. There are too many children running everywhere once school gets out, and I have to keep tabs on them, no time for cooking. So I cook in the morning. I use the crock pot for almost everything. I could tell you totally got how exciting this was for me!! It was lost on some b/c they’re not MSM fans like we are!! The blog traffic was AMAZING for these few days.
