I have no children, just me and a husband in a house. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard to keep clean but I’ve definitely found myself running around before people come around. 2 things I am trying to remind myself of in this situation are that guests will have a much better time if I’m happy and relaxed, rather than dusting things and apologising for the mess every 2 seconds. Also, that I shouldn’t clean for others but for myself. I deserve to live in a nice environment all the time, not just when people come round! I’m still working on it but your points all tie in to the same end goal 🙂
