I am so sorry about your wedding dress. It IS special. My wife sewed her own dress for our wedding, and I cannot imagine how she would feel if it were taken away.

It is a lesson I needed to hear, as I get caught up in the material things way to much. The most important things in life will still be there, if the material things were taken away.

A difficult time for you not being able to be with them – something I understand as I live on the other side of the world from my parents! I think God knew that you didn’t need rings and dresses to make your marriage. Instead you have stories of what’s really important to pass on to your boys – but also remind them that dresses are important to girls too 🙂
