I had a lot of shame and regret over those teen years and I would try to compensate by keeping a clean house, as silly as it sounds..like I felt like it was the one thing I could control while my small kids (at the time) seemed so strong-willed and out of my control. God finally got a hold of me and changed my perspective…I’m 36 now and my kids are all nearing teen years but I look back at those early years and wish I’d have lightened up about housework and my control freak antics regarding a clean house!! I keep a clean place these days but definitely no more daily dusting and sweeping etc!!❤️🙏 great reflective post and a Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
