Feeling down and being in a place of seeking joy has happened to me many times over the years, not because I am totally Sadness all the time because I am not. It is just that hard times call for digging a little deeper, and we are definitely in difficult places these days. There have been months where I sat down and searched out instances in the Bible where it mentions joy, just to teach myself and help pull out of the funk from moving year after year after year as an Army wife.
That is why I was excited to write out this booklet to share with you what I have found in my own joy-quests. Each of the eight days focuses on easy ways to refocus your mind to a calmer, more joyful place.
And yes, of course, 8 Days of Finding Joy During a Pandemic is free for all my readers. It is an easy read too, at only 25 pages long.
Save it to your desktop while you go through the chapters this week to make it easier to find each day. I decided to give you the whole thing at once because who wants eight separate emails?
…But I am hoping it will be a pick-me-up/encouraging read for you.
I would love to hear from you all about your answer to the Day 1 prompt, so if you’d like to share, send me an email or a blog comment, and tell me what it is that you enjoy doing.
And of course, if you are already one of my newsletter subscribers, I have already sent this out to you. Check your inbox!

How cool is that? Yes, I've been able to find the joy in it. It gets easier and I think a lot of that has to do with the time of year. Had this pandemic hit in November.. where the light decreases.. rather than increases. Oh boy. And missing the holidays. Sigh. I have to stop thinking about that.
It's been a challenge in so many ways, but joy is there.
And the baby is coming! Excited for you!!!
I can relate to 'don't let the news drink your coffee'. We have had to turn the blessed TV off lately. I just can't sit there and listen to all of STUFF any longer. Trying to find bits of joy in every day. In the simple things.
Yes! And sadly even my Facebook feed has been discouraging. 2020 is no joke.
